Finance Intern

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, United States; part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer

Salary: $21.50–$24.25 per hour

What you will do

• Support tax compliance activities, prepare documentation, and track key metrics related to business data and systems.
• Perform accounting functions, document processes, and assist with month-end close tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on projects, including system testing and data sharing.
• Communicate with internal customers to provide tax guidance and education.
• Research current tax laws and contribute to special Accounting and Finance projects.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program at an accredited institution
• Commitment to a minimum one-year internship, including the summer term
• Strong writing, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Motivation to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results
