Events Solutions Consultant (Hospitality & Conventions)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite role with regular attendance at a physical location and travel to customers, vendors, and other facilities.

Salary: $25.59–$30.70 per hour

What you will do

• Act as the onsite hirify.global Office sales and support expert for event managers and other participants throughout event planning and delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with hotel and convention center sales and event services departments.
• Make sales calls, deliver product and service presentations, identify new revenue opportunities, and support multiple hospitality and conventions locations.
• Prepare quotes for complex job orders, follow up on bids, and monitor the quality and timeliness of convention and event-related work.
• Coordinate pre-event and post-event customer contact, follow-ups, and information sharing across the hirify.global Office network.
• Maintain CRM records, review performance against goals, and collaborate with store teams, vendors, and other hirify.global operating companies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• At least 2 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, and Salesforce.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to customer groups.
• Strong organization, planning, customer consultation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work established business hours onsite in San Diego and travel as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the hospitality industry, hotel events, branding, customer or client development, consultation, and retention.
• Experience working independently while building strong relationships with internal partners.
