Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer (Azure/Terraform)

Location: United States; hybrid or virtual/remote. Primary location: Palo Alto, with additional listed locations including New York, San Francisco, Austin, Boston, Boulder, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

Salary: $131,750–$178,250 per year in Palo Alto, New York, and San Francisco; $119,000–$161,000 per year in other listed locations.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for Azure and other cloud solutions.
• Integrate application development and IT infrastructure using Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Graph API, Foundry, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet best practices for performance, cost, data protection, security, and risk management.
• Perform root cause analysis, recover from service interruptions, and prevent recurring issues.
• Develop technology roadmaps and maintain clear documentation for managed services and applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a cloud systems administrator or in a comparable role.
• 3+ years of experience designing and managing Azure environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD best practices, and Terraform.
• Experience integrating application development pipelines with IT infrastructure.
• Ability to present to large groups, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and manage multiple assignments.

Nice to have

• Microsoft AZ-400 certification and a BA degree.
• Experience with Power Platform, Foundry, Graph API, Logic Apps, Function Apps, O365, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI technologies such as Copilot or Claude.
• Experience in the legal sector and with lifecycle project planning and stakeholder management.
