XFRA Install Manager (Electrical)

Location: San Francisco, United States; recurring field work across deployment markets, with a preference for candidates living in Texas.

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Manage and schedule employed electricians and licensed subcontractor crews across multiple job sites.
• Own installation quality, NEC and local AHJ code compliance, site audits, permitting, and inspections.
• Coordinate installation schedules with partners and site superintendents, resolving field conflicts and escalations.
• Lead regional safety performance, including lockout/tagout, arc-flash protection, PPE, fall protection, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee commissioning of hirify.global Panel and XFRA node pairs, including energization, load testing, and verification before operations and maintenance handoff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage subcontractors while tracking installation volume, cycle time, quality, safety, and schedule risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing electrical or low-voltage field installation crews and 10+ years of general installation experience.
• Experience managing installations across multiple simultaneous job sites, metros, or multi-site production environments.
• Background in solar, battery storage, EV charging, smart-panel systems, residential electrification, or related hardware deployments.
• Experience with subcontractor scoping, vetting, performance management, engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and installation manuals.
• Strong safety-program experience; OSHA 30 is preferred.
• Experience with utility interconnection, inspection processes, data-center or outdoor rack/enclosure installations, and launching regional installation programs.

• Experience with a scaling or newly launched hardware product.
• Residence in Texas.
