What you will do

• Analyze operational data from deployed microgrid, energy storage, and distributed energy resource systems to identify trends, anomalies, reliability concerns, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop analytics, dashboards, and visualization tools that improve customer value, operational performance, and fleet-wide system insights.
• Design and conduct fault, off-nominal, and edge-case testing through model-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop setups.
• Support verification and validation of advanced microgrid control architectures.
• Develop AI agents and automation tools for sales applications engineering, technical support, and internal engineering workflows.
• Contribute to engineering standards, analytics processes, best practices, and research with academic and national laboratory partners.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, energy systems engineering, data science, applied mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or large-scale technical data analysis.
• Ability to clean, analyze, visualize, and interpret complex data sets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
