Vice President, Property Tax (AI)

Location: Republic Plaza, 370 17th Street; immediate start in Denver or Chicago

What you will do

• Create and implement property tax strategies across core real estate sectors to improve profitability.
• Lead a geographically dispersed property tax team and support personnel development.
• Manage property tax appeals and property compliance processes across covered assets.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Investments on platform decision-making.
• Assess asset scope and pursue growth through AI-enabled property tax strategies.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing teams and developing personnel.
• Technical knowledge of ad valorem taxation for real and personal property and property tax accounting.
• Experience representing property tax appeals before multiple jurisdictions and states, across multiple property classes.
• Experience selecting and managing external tax advisors, with strong communication and adaptability skills.
• Advanced knowledge of property tax advisors and databases, plus interest in technology innovation.
