Senior Director, Finance Business Partner - Technology (AI)

Brown & Brown is an insurance and financial services company seeking a finance leader to partner with its Technology organization.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to the CITO and Technology Leadership Team.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the enterprise Technology organization.
• Advise on cost containment, accounting treatments, operating decisions, and technology investments.
• Lead the AI Value Office, including business case standards, investment reviews, KPI dashboards, benefits tracking, and value realization reporting.
• Evaluate and govern investment portfolios covering cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, data, AI, and transformation initiatives.
• Manage technology spending transparency, cost allocation, FinOps practices, vendor relationships, and sourcing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience with executive-level business partnership.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, investment governance, business case development, and value realization.
• Experience with technology financial management, cloud economics, FinOps, vendor management, and technology portfolio governance.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to synthesize complex information and influence senior decision-making.
• Ability to understand and communicate the financial drivers of technology investments, operating models, and transformation priorities.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or another advanced professional designation.
• Public company finance experience or experience in insurance or broader financial services.
• Experience with multi-entity, decentralized, or matrixed organizations.
• Experience supporting cloud, cybersecurity, AI, data, digital transformation, shared services, or large-scale Technology initiatives.
