Software Development Engineer II (Azure/C#)

Location: Hybrid work in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States, with an on-campus work model

Salary: $92,400–$157,100 per year

What you will do

• Consult with stakeholders and IT leaders to identify business problems, improvement opportunities, and software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based Employee Experience and Finance applications on Azure using C# and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Translate system requirements into code and apply CI/CD practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Perform unit testing, test automation, cross-functional testing, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues through debugging, performance tuning, call rotation, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the design team, contribute to IT process standardization, and provide feedback on peer designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• At least one year of software development experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and software development tools and practices.
• Ability to analyze business situations, apply logic and reasoning, and make decisions using policies and guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous-learning skills.
• Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated environment is required for the role’s broader responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Expertise in business process automation and a modern programming language such as C#.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Ability to represent the team with other teams and organizational leadership.
