Logistics Operations Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Malta, New York, USA

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support logistics warehouse and distribution operations at the Malta site.
• Optimize kitting and repair programs, inventory tracking, and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze data and design solutions using Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft AI tools.
• Contribute to AI automation projects, risk assessment, sustainability reviews, and logistics efficiency initiatives.
• Document business processes and conduct training sessions for end users.
• Develop project charters and present progress on key deliverables.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field during the internship.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship at the Malta site.
• Work safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

• Prior internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, academic projects, or competitions.
• Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies.
• Project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
