Director, Cyber Risk Operations & BISO (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey office, with remote work available and in-person collaboration 1–2 days per week.

Salary: $185,000–$252,500 annually

What you will do

• Serve as the primary cybersecurity advisor and point of contact for assigned business-unit leaders and IT partners.
• Identify, evaluate, track, and communicate information-security risks involving applications, data, and third-party vendors.
• Partner with IT and project-management teams to embed security and privacy controls into technology projects and product lifecycles.
• Provide business-unit context during cybersecurity incidents, threat assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
• Establish governance for security standards, continuous control monitoring, compliance metrics, and executive reporting.
• Use automation and Artificial Intelligence to improve security governance, risk visibility, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in information-security controls, IT audit, or security-risk management.
• At least 5 years of experience coaching, building consensus, and managing resources across competing priorities.
• Experience creating executive presentations and escalating risk issues to senior technology or company leadership.
• Strong understanding of information-security technologies and the ability to translate between business and technology requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and changing priorities.

• Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or another relevant industry certification.
