Senior Security Governance Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, or Chicago, Illinois, United States; four days in the office

Salary: $110,500–$157,300 base salary per year, plus potential incentive compensation and equity programs.

What you will do

• Conduct security governance, assurance, and compliance activities for management, auditors, regulators, and boards.
• Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, guidelines, and control libraries.
• Perform security risk assessments and oversee timely, effective remediation throughout the risk lifecycle.
• Lead security control testing and improve the effectiveness and consistency of security processes.
• Prepare cyber risk posture reports and present findings to senior management.
• Support regulatory examinations by gathering documentation, drafting responses, and developing security action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security risk management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO, and financial market infrastructure regulations such as SEC Regulation SCI and Systems Safeguards.
• Experience administering GRC tools and working with Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or another relevant security certification.
• Experience with AI tools, GenAI coding assistance, and using AI to improve processes.
