Senior Software Engineer (AI Growth)

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States; Remote - US

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 annual compensation, including on-target earnings.

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services for AI usage metering, reporting, billing integrations, and model availability.
• Design data pipelines and event-driven systems that process usage and product data at scale.
• Develop cloud-native services and distributed systems using C# and AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and S3.
• Integrate AI, product, data, billing, and platform systems while contributing to architecture and scalable engineering patterns.
• Own service reliability, observability, production support, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, AI Tools, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Platform Engineering teams, supporting engineers through reviews and pairing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade systems.
• Strong experience with distributed backend services using C# or a comparable backend language.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and modern cloud-native backend architecture patterns.
• Experience with data pipelines, event-driven systems, analytics infrastructure, and reliable production services.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, product, data, or other technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with billing, metering, usage tracking, rate limiting, product analytics, or usage-based data systems.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and S3.
• Experience with Snowflake, Kafka, or similar data and event-streaming technologies.
• Experience connecting product usage data with commercial or billing workflows.
