Technical Project Manager (IAM)

Location: Remote

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead technical execution and delivery of the FSA Identity and Access Management modernization project.
• Coordinate the transition from legacy AIMS and PAS systems to a unified cloud-based IAM solution.
• Manage deliverables, reporting, schedules, sprint scope, user stories, backlogs, and Definition of Done activities.
• Coordinate environment support, change and release management, deployment packaging, and operational planning.
• Work with the FSA Product Owner, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and reliable delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong experience leading technical IT projects and managing deliverables, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, lean thinking, sprint planning, backlogs, and Definition of Done practices.
• Experience with modernization and system consolidation initiatives.
• Public Trust clearance with a VA minimum background investigation is required.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

• Knowledge of IAM concepts and federal IT environments.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on technical coordination.
