Senior Engineering Manager (AI/BI)

Salary: $228,600–$314,250 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead multiple teams of full-stack and backend engineers, subject-matter experts, and engineering managers.
• Grow the AI/BI Dashboard product across dashboard creation, consumption, query, permissions, control-plane, web, mobile, Desktop, and distribution surfaces.
• Apply AI and LLM technology to agentic dashboard authoring and AI-powered insights.
• Scale services and distributed systems to support the next order of magnitude of users while maintaining quality, performance, and operational reliability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineering managers and individual contributors.
• Set technical direction, manage technical debt, and balance long-term architecture decisions with the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience managing multiple teams building and operating products and systems in a SaaS environment.
• 10+ years of experience with distributed systems and building products, platforms, and services used by multiple product teams and customers.
• Experience scaling engineering teams from 15 to 35+ people and managing distributed teams across multiple locations.
• Strong record of attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent.
• Experience creating efficient processes that improve velocity and quality in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
