Summer Internship 2027 - Business Development (Regional Services)

Location: On-site in Herndon, Virginia, for the duration of the summer internship; US work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Salary: $24–$39.75 per hour, depending on degree program, year in school, skills, experience, and geographic differential.

What you will do

• Define ambiguous business problems and develop strategic architectures, organizational designs, and future-state roadmaps.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and research external trends in commercial aviation services.
• Develop and validate go-to-market hypotheses based on market and customer needs.
• Redesign workflows, resolve operational and technical friction points, and support internal transformation.
• Design value propositions, pricing models, and prototypes to demonstrate the commercial potential of new services or products.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in Herndon, Virginia, throughout the summer internship.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, engineering management, or business administration.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Strong business acumen, technical curiosity, and ability to synthesize complex information with engineering, operations, and sales teams.
• Comfort working with ambiguous problems and developing clear problem statements before solutions.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Google Workspace.
