International Business Development Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time, on-site internship in Washington, DC; the posting also lists Woodbridge, VA.

Pay range: $40/hour for bachelor's students, $45/hour for master's students, and $50/hour for PhD students.

hirify.global is an aerospace startup that designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations for climate monitoring, national security, and other mission-critical applications.

What you will do

• Conduct market research to identify international opportunities aligned with satellite constellation capabilities.
• Analyze country strategies, defense and civil agency budgets, and open-source information.
• Assess competitors, in-country primes, and external satellite bus manufacturers.
• Recommend potential customers, partnerships, and industry events for Muon leadership.
• Own or contribute to a project from research through final recommendations.

Requirements

• Research skills, including identifying, synthesizing, and summarizing open-source data.
• Ability to distill country strategy and defense and civil agency budget information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must meet U.S. export-control access requirements as a U.S. person, as an eligible person without required export authorization, or as someone eligible and reasonably likely to obtain authorization.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or co-op experience.
• Experience with business or marketing project teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Experience presenting results to medium-sized teams.
