Admissions Recruiter (Higher Education)

Salary: $3,657.33 per month, negotiable based on education and experience.

What you will do

• Recruit admitted and prospective students, with a focus on increasing enrollment and supporting underrepresented students.
• Develop recruitment plans for assigned schools and geographic areas.
• Coordinate with high school counselors, applicants, parents, departments, and advisors throughout the admissions process.
• Advise prospective students on admissions status, policies, programs, complaints, and appeals.
• Conduct on- and off-campus presentations, maintain records, and review admission applications.
• Organize recruitment events and office programs, including travel, accommodations, itineraries, meals, speakers, reports, and committee activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Knowledge of higher education admissions functions.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
