VP, Network Development & Contracting - Sunshine State Health Plan (Healthcare)

Salary: $207,000–$392,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead provider network strategy, including access analysis, network operations, coverage, growth, and expansion opportunities.
• Oversee provider contracting coordination and negotiations, using reimbursement, cost, and market analysis.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for network costs and provider contracts across product lines.
• Review contracting rates and lead unit cost and selective contracting initiatives.
• Establish departmental strategy, objectives, policies, procedures, production standards, and quality standards.
• Support market expansion, M&A due diligence, and health plan leadership on provider relations and strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in network development, provider relations, or contracting management within healthcare or managed care.
• Previous management experience, including hiring, training, work assignment, and performance management.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace contracting across the Florida market is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• MBA or MHA degree.
• Experience managing contracting for Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace lines of business in Florida.
