Manager, Advanced Analytics (Python/Airflow)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, 805 Respect, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team delivering advanced analytics projects and business insights.
• Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to define analytics objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including risk assessment, model development, prototyping, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Develop data models and algorithms to address complex business challenges and support data-driven decisions.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships and align analytics solutions with business goals.
• Oversee automation initiatives using a Python and Apache Airflow platform supporting more than 110 production automations across 14+ business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, statistics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading advanced analytics projects and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL Server Data Tools, and Airflow.
• Experience developing complex data models and algorithms.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
• Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, or statistics.
