What you will do

• Own readiness for hirify.global’s first external financial statement audit and manage the day-to-day auditor relationship.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across hirify.global Inc. and hirify.global GmbH, including GAAP reporting, consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and FX translation under ASC 830.
• Develop technical accounting positions and memos covering ASC 606 revenue models, ASC 350-40 software capitalization, ASC 718 stock compensation, and emerging stablecoin payment revenue.
• Own Tabs as the billing and revenue system of record, including contract configuration, usage data integrity, and the general-ledger bridge.
• Design controls over revenue, cash, procure-to-pay, and payroll, while improving payroll allocation, development capitalization, AR, collections, AP, and tax operations.
• Evaluate the accounting stack and automate rule-based processes such as categorization, reconciliation matching, usage validation, and collections follow-up.

Requirements

• Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Manager in a venture-backed company.
• Experience taking a company through a first external audit and owning the remediation process.
• Hands-on month-end close ownership across at least two legal entities with different currencies.
• Deep experience applying ASC 606 to a revenue model without clear precedent and defending the position to auditors.
• Active CPA license and experience developing a small team or managing a direct report.
• Must be based in the United States and able to work East Coast hours.

Nice to have

• Usage-based or consumption billing experience with Tabs, Metronome, Maxio, or similar systems.
• Public accounting or audit background.
• Experience with ASC 350-40 development capitalization and auditable time capture.
• Swiss entity experience, including CHF functional currency and Swiss statutory or VAT exposure.
• Experience in digital assets, payments, or regulated financial services, and replacing manual accounting work with automation.
