Calibration Technician 1

Location: Monterrey, Mexico; onsite role

What you will do

• Follow up on the calibration plan and verify equipment status in the calibration system.
• Perform Level 1 and Level 2 equipment calibration and verification using documented procedures.
• Evaluate calibration reports from internal and external laboratories against requirements.
• Support service tickets, nonconforming equipment follow-up, and corrective activities.
• Report measurement equipment failures and assist inspectors and operators with basic measurement equipment practices.
• Participate in GLS and huddle meetings when required.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience performing equipment calibration.
• Current LOTO certificate.
• Training from the local coordinator or calibration manager, with an updated skill matrix.
• Basic to intermediate QDA system knowledge and experience with document administration and databases.
• Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Training in uncertainty budgets and ISO 9001 and/or IEC 17025.
