FX Content & Editorial Intern, Spring 2027

Location: Burbank, California, United States; on-site internship with reliable transportation and housing required in the Burbank area

hirify.global’s FX Networks business creates television programming and related audiovisual marketing materials.

What you will do

• Watch episodes and create accurate timecoded logs covering dialogue, images, performances, and story beats.
• Contribute ideas during creative brainstorms and explain the rationale behind campaign angles.
• Track creative assets and notes to keep project information current and organized.
• Assist with writing and revising promo scripts, copy, and other editorial materials.
• Collaborate with writers, producers, and other team members while communicating progress and incorporating feedback.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies to support relevant content ideas.

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in storytelling, television, trailers, creative marketing, or media content.
• Experience managing multiple assignments and deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to incorporate feedback into creative or presentation materials.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate proactively, and complete assigned projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, be at least 18 years old, and possess unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in media, entertainment, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Junior or senior standing and coursework or a major in film, marketing, or creative writing.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time, six-month commitment from January 2027 through June 2027.
• Availability for 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends.
• Consistent and reliable availability is required throughout the internship.
• Opportunity to learn campaign development from early concepts through finished assets while working closely with a Senior Writer/Producer.
