Senior Software QA Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own a comprehensive, risk-based test strategy for Redtrust across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Transform manual regression into a prioritized, automation-first process by rationalizing coverage and managing the automation backlog.
• Design test plans and cases for major product features and maintain defect-tracking and triage practices.
• Participate in product design and refinement reviews to identify quality and testability risks early.
• Coordinate Product, Development, and QA on testing requirements, coverage ownership, and appropriate test layers.
• Define quality metrics and reporting, support unit-test growth, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, QA analysis, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience creating risk-based test strategies and prioritizing large or bloated test suites.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, influence, problem-solving, and strategic change leadership skills.
• Solid automation literacy, including the ability to evaluate unit, API, and UI test layers and prioritize automation work.
• Experience with test-management tools, manual testing, defect tracking, traceability, and quality methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with security, PKI, certificate management, or compliance-sensitive products.
• Familiarity with BDD, Gherkin, and Cucumber-based test suites.
• Experience moving teams from manual-heavy testing to automation-first practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
