Motion Designer (AI)

Location: Remote, EMEA

Salary: €92,600–€139,000 per year in Europe, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Design and produce motion for product explainers, website animations, paid social videos, keynotes, events, and campaign assets.
• Create storyboards and polished product demo animations from UI frames and product briefs.
• Define Zapier’s branded motion language across product, web, social, and campaign surfaces.
• Build motion guidelines, component libraries, and mogrts files that enable partners to work independently.
• Explore tools such as Jitter and Figma Motion to support scalable, on-brand asset creation.
• Develop repeatable templates for product video launches and paid social testing.

Requirements

• Ability to turn UI frames and brand briefs into clear, engaging visual stories.
• Strong understanding of motion systems, timing, easing, brand expression, and UI animation.
• Strong sense of sound, rhythm, and the relationship between motion and audio.
• Ability to communicate narrative and creative rationale to stakeholders.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, moving quickly, and using AI video tools as part of the creative practice.
• Ability to work remotely from the EMEA region.
