Manager, Semantic Intelligence (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Titusville, New Jersey, United States

Base pay: $117,000–$201,250 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and enhancement of semantic intelligence capabilities on the enterprise data platform.
• Partner with the Global Commercial Strategy Organization, business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineers to translate complex requirements into scalable data and AI solutions.
• Build reusable data products and platform services that improve data accessibility, interoperability, semantic context, and AI readiness.
• Provide technical leadership across cloud computing, data engineering, APIs, metadata, semantic technologies, and AI-enabled applications.
• Establish engineering standards for architecture, testing, deployment, observability, documentation, security, and production support.
• Manage priorities, delivery plans, risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, mentoring, and delivery partners across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

• Ph.D. with 2+ years of relevant industry experience, or M.S. with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, in a relevant technical discipline.
• Significant experience delivering enterprise-scale data products, cloud platforms, data infrastructure, analytics solutions, or AI-enabled applications in production.
• Experience with semantic modeling, enterprise metadata, knowledge graphs, graph data models, or comparable approaches.
• Strong understanding of large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector retrieval, semantic search, AI agents, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible AI.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, Python, SQL, distributed computing, automated testing, CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working across product management, architecture, engineering, data science, cybersecurity, privacy, and governance in a regulated industry.
