What you will do

  • Own real estate financing and debt management workstreams.
  • Maintain bond documentation and manage ongoing debt compliance reporting.
  • Design systems for tracking debt covenants and build long-term debt portfolio and cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare amortization schedules, debt payment schedules, and real estate-related budget forecasts with the Accounting team.
  • Support debt financings through modeling, data gathering, due diligence, market research, pricing analysis, and financing closings.
  • Prepare materials for the Finance Committee and board members and collaborate with internal teams and external advisors.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience building debt portfolio models, cash flow forecasts, and amortization schedules.
  • Understanding of core finance principles and experience organizing documentation for financial transactions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
  • Technology fluency, including Microsoft 365, Excel, and modern collaboration tools.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with tax-exempt bonds, New Markets Tax Credits, or Community Development Financial Institutions.
  • Interest in automation or AI-enabled tools for financial analysis.
