Mid-level Business Process Reengineering Specialist

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day workstreams for rapid current-state operational assessments.
• Plan and analyze critical cross-organizational processes, diagnosing performance gaps and root causes.
• Develop actionable recommendations for process, procedure, and tool improvements.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and working sessions with senior client executives.
• Shape process redesign and future-state operating model recommendations, including culture benchmarking.
• Mentor junior analysts and review their deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business process reengineering, operating model design, or management consulting.
• Experience leading current-state and future-state analysis using methods such as BPMN, value stream mapping, SIPOC, and RACI.
• Experience designing assessment plans, conducting gap and root-cause analyses, and developing prioritized recommendations.
• Experience with executive interviews, facilitated working sessions, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and executive-level deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree and strong executive communication and facilitation skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DHS Fitness Determination (Public Trust).

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience supporting federal agencies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, PMP, Prosci Change Management, or similar certification.
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, or incident management frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, NSM-22, or NCIRP.
