Early Careers - Security Program Management Senior Intern (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three office days per week

Base pay range: $22.54–$40.31

What you will do

• Own components of cybersecurity program projects and assigned deliverables with mentor and manager guidance.
• Research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with business and technical cross-functional teams.
• Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and member and client experiences.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation covering the project, results, and recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable corporate compliance policies.

Requirements

• Pursuing a master's degree or higher in cybersecurity, management information systems, information technology, information security, computer science, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Available for the complete ten-week internship program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with practical Office 365 and virtual collaboration tool experience.

Nice to have

• Participation in Capture the Flag, IT hacking, cyber investigation, or similar technical competitions.
• Experience with MS Project, JIRA, or other project management and tracking platforms.
• Involvement in IT-related associations or organizations.
