Secondary Engineer LCC Specialist (GIS)

Location: Hybrid in Mexico City, Mexico

What you will do

• Develop protection and control designs for electrical substation projects.
• Design control schematics for GIS local control cabinets throughout all project stages.
• Prepare specifications and bills of materials for local control cabinets.
• Develop panel layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Support manufacturing activities according to contract specifications, customer requirements, safety requirements, and applicable technical regulations.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests and prepare cabinet as-built documentation.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering, control and automation engineering, or communications engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience designing control schematics.
• Familiarity with IEC and ANSI standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.
• Fluent English and the ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer requirements.
• Teamwork skills, ability to follow instructions, and a proactive approach.
