LQA Operations Lead (Video Games)

What you will do

• Lead and support LQA Coordinators responsible for multilingual LQA teams.
• Oversee daily operations, priorities, resources, capacity, workload, coverage, and attendance across language teams.
• Provide technical guidance on localized game testing, bug reporting, tools, and QA workflows.
• Act as an escalation point for complex operational and technical issues and define action plans for quality or performance challenges.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify trends and risks, and improve processes, documentation, workflows, and team efficiency.
• Support onboarding and training while collaborating with Operations leaders and internal teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Localization Quality Assurance within the video game or localization industry.
• Strong knowledge of LQA processes, testing methodologies, bug reporting, and QA workflows.
• Experience leading or coordinating LQA, QA, or coordinator teams.
• Experience with multilingual and multicultural teams, operational planning, resource allocation, capacity, and workload management.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and people-management skills.
• Advanced English level: C1–C2; must be based in LATAM.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large or distributed LQA teams.
• Experience with international clients and global stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Jira or similar bug-tracking and project-management tools.
• Experience with operational KPIs, dashboards, performance metrics, and LQA workflow improvement.
