Localization Web Developer (React)

Location: Remote work is available only to candidates located in the USA and residing in eligible states. Hybrid work is available through physical offices in Austin, Texas, and Tampa, Florida. Onsite interviews may be required. Candidates residing within Chicago city limits cannot be hired for this role.

Salary: $65,000–$100,000 per year for roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington, or New York.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable internationalized UI solutions in React.
• Integrate localization into React components, manage localization files, and preserve performance, accessibility, and translation quality.
• Extract UI strings, coordinate translations with internal teams and external vendors, and respond to translator questions.
• Validate localized builds across languages and regions, support localization QA, and resolve UI, layout, and functional issues.
• Manage localization readiness for product releases and act as a technical bridge between engineering, localization, design, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional front-end or software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with internationalization, localization engineering, adaptive UI, responsive design, and reusable component-based interfaces.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and at least one additional language are required.
• Working knowledge of Python, localization workflows and CAT tools, plus familiarity with front-end testing frameworks.

• Experience with design systems, Figma, Storybook, or comparable tools.
