Production Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Edwardsville, Illinois, United States. Primarily office-based, with occasional time in production or warehouse settings.

What you will do

• Develop production schedules and capacity attainment plans based on forecasts, capabilities, and projected customer demand.
• Execute material requirements planning to ensure materials and components are available for the master production schedule.
• Analyze customer and production requirements to maximize space utilization and maintain efficient operations.
• Monitor capacity risks, production progress, inventories, and data to support on-time delivery and site efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators and prepare business reports.
• Support continuous improvement of production planning processes and information flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience creating and maintaining Excel macros to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
