Brands Technologist - Label Home Textiles - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Home Textiles)

Location: Leicester, UK; typically 5 days in the office. Core hours are flexible between 8am and 6pm.

Salary: £46,000–£68,000 per year.

What you will do

• Evaluate new online brand products for legal, safety, quality, and performance compliance.
• Manage the onboarding and due diligence process for new brands.
• Provide technical support to the Product Team and external partners.
• Review ways of working to accelerate brand onboarding and maintain product standards.
• Monitor legislation, industry trends, and consumer preferences that may affect products.
• Identify product challenges and develop practical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of bedding and/or textiles and products.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly across the business and with external partners.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data accurately.
• Experience contributing to product design and development and managing a technology critical path.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on legal, safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work onsite in Leicester, typically five days per week.
