Senior QA Tester (Gaming)

Location: UK only; remote or hybrid in Brighton. Candidates must have a valid UK work visa.

hirify.global is a game studio developing titles including PowerWash Simulator, the Velocity series, and Peaky Blinders Mastermind.

What you will do

• Test game features and content across PC and console platforms.
• Review specifications, create test plans, and assess feature and content health.
• Investigate high-risk bugs and provide risk assessments for bug triage.
• Work with developers and producers to identify issues early and support quality decisions.
• Contribute to internal QA processes and work autonomously on assigned objectives.
• Mentor and help develop junior QA team members.

Requirements

• Valid UK work visa required.
• At least 2 years of experience in games QA, preferably at a game development studio.
• Experience with most or all PC and console gaming platforms.
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans.
• Solid understanding of the game development process.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of the PowerWash Simulator franchise.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo certification requirements.
• Experience coordinating internal and external QA teams.
• Experience supporting at least one game title from concept to release.
