Senior QA Coordinator (Games): Leading and developing remote Development QA and Functional QA teams supporting the creation, testing, and delivery of PC and console games with an accent on team mentoring, quality control, KPI development, and QA process improvement. Focus on coordinating distributed QA teams, improving defect reporting and test coverage, and maintaining quality throughout development, release, and post-launch support.
Location: United Kingdom; the role includes trips to Sofia, Bulgaria, to meet the remote team. Most Creative Assembly roles are hybrid with three days per week in the studio.

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop remote Development QA and Functional QA teams.
- Coordinate team priorities, workload, performance, cover, and absence with QA leadership.
- Create, maintain, and report team KPIs, quality metrics, and performance assessments.
- Oversee test case databases, defect reports, bug database quality, test coverage, and build deliveries.
- Improve Development QA processes, feedback loops, retrospectives, planning sessions, and cross-team communication.
- Build in-depth knowledge of the game throughout development, release, post-launch support, and holistic end-user testing.
Requirements
- Experience directly managing and mentoring remote teams.
- Previous leadership experience in game development, particularly QA.
- Knowledge of quality assistance, push-left QA, Development QA, game production practices, and methodologies.
- Experience handling interpersonal issues and creating team KPIs and quality-control frameworks.
- Strong communication, organisational, time-management, self-management, and prioritisation skills.
- Passion for video games, including broad experience with PC and console titles.
Nice to have
- Experience on AAA titles in a development studio.
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Perforce, Unreal Engine 5, reporting tools, and technical documentation.
- Fluent Bulgarian and English.
- Experience with survival horror games.
