Software Engineer (MANTL)

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment.

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build core experiences for bank administrators and bank customers.
• Design streamlined user flows and robust backend APIs.
• Integrate the platform with third-party software such as Plaid and SendGrid.
• Write clean, documented, well-tested code with attention to performance and long-term viability.
• Design services with careful error handling, logging, and edge-case coverage.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural input, and code reviews for teammates.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience with backend technologies such as Node, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Exposure to React and NestJS.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservice architecture, and domain-driven design.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Comfort with system design and communicating architectural tradeoffs.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for full-time employment; visa sponsorship is not available.
