What you will do

• Build and maintain systems that validate investment accounting data and support accurate financial reporting.
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and improve Java/Kotlin backend applications.
• Perform root-cause analysis for data accuracy and software issues and develop effective solutions.
• Contribute to user stories, project estimation, code reviews, and backend service design improvements.
• Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and produce accurate, auditable financial outputs.
• Document software usage, architecture, designs, and APIs while writing broad unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience, preferably in a backend or data-intensive environment.
• Solid programming skills in Java or Kotlin.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, deliver results on schedule, and continuously improve technical skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with investment accounting concepts such as amortization, accruals, and fixed income.
