Software Engineer (Java)

Location: United States work authorization is required through a current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

Salary: $227,000–$248,000 per year, plus $57,000–$62,000 in immediately vested 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, real-time systems, large-scale data processing, and business information systems.
• Design and implement software components, algorithms, database interfaces, and system integrations.
• Review and test software components against documented design requirements and record test results.
• Resolve software problem reports, correct defects, and improve system performance and reliability.
• Analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, and performance constraints to define effective software solutions.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions, technology selection, process standards, and quality control.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required before applying.
• Clearance sponsorship or clearance processing is not available.
• At least 12 years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Java, Spring Boot, Mongo, Kafka, JMS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
