Process Engineer (Waste to Energy)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work with home office possible 2 days per week

Salary: €48,000 gross per year minimum

What you will do

• Act as the contact person for Balance of Plants and Flue Gas Treatment process topics during project execution.
• Develop heat and material balances, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and functional descriptions for plant automation.
• Size static and rotating equipment and prepare technical documentation.
• Evaluate and compare process-related supplier offers.
• Perform HAZOP risk analyses and support process reviews during commissioning and before trial operation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable process engineering role in energy, environmental technology, renewable energy, or a similar industry.
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Knowledge of process engineering and equipment design.
• Reliability, time-management, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are optional.
