TL;DR
Junior Data Engineer (SQL/Data Modelling): Building optimised data models and integrations for large-scale data infrastructure with an accent on data integrity, stakeholder requirements, and pipeline reliability. Focus on integrating databases, APIs, streaming platforms, and files, troubleshooting data quality issues, and improving the performance and cost-efficiency of data systems.
Location: Hybrid work from the Warsaw office 3 days a week, Warszawa, Poland

What you will do
- Build and implement optimised data models that support business requirements and data integrity.
- Integrate data from databases, APIs, streaming platforms, and files.
- Monitor the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data pipelines and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot data issues, resolve data quality problems, and reduce technical debt.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimising complex queries.
- Experience with data modelling.
- Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and proposing suitable solutions.
- Strong motivation to develop further in areas such as ETL or data governance.
- Fluent Polish and good command of English; English proficiency of at least B2 is required.
- Availability to work from the Warsaw office 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Python experience.
- Experience with a cloud platform, preferably GCP.
- Experience building reusable AI solutions such as prompts, workflows, skills, or automations.
