Planner [C] (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Create and manage complex fulfillment and production plans.
• Determine material specifications and maintain inventory schedules.
• Analyze production plans, inventory reports, and long-lead-time requirements to guide manufacturing sites.
• Review and revise plans in response to manufacturing schedule changes.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Customer Care, Sales, and Product Management to troubleshoot operational issues.
• Expedite finished goods and recommend production or transportation actions during stockouts or allocation situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production management, or production planning.
• Experience ensuring material availability while reducing inventory and increasing inventory turns.
• Systematic approach to supply-base analysis and EOQ purchasing optimization.
• Strong computer, written, verbal, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with optoelectronics and PCB commodities, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SIOP processes.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• International purchasing and planning experience.
