What you will do

• Lead UX research strategy for a business or product line within the academic publishing submissions domain.
• Research user behaviours, needs, motivations, use cases, and market segments.
• Design and conduct moderated, unmoderated, remote, and in-person research.
• Feed user feedback and testing insights into product development with cross-functional partners.
• Share research findings, documentation, and analysis across the organisation.
• Mentor junior researchers and coach teams on meeting customer needs.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience leading user-centred research.
• Ability to design research for different contexts and work with technically complex products.
• Expert knowledge of multiple UX research and testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of organisational technology stacks and technical research skills.
• Expert-level experience with Qualtrics, Lookback, and UserTesting.com.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with technology teams and understand competitors and regulatory environments.
