Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (3D Printing)

Location: Somerville, MA, United States; onsite manufacturing work.

What you will do

• Improve existing manufacturing lines to support increasing production volumes.
• Establish in-line and intermediate checks to identify failures earlier.
• Design and analyze production lines, define processes, track performance metrics, and drive improvements.
• Develop and deploy custom tooling and calibration equipment for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with overseas contract manufacturers and suppliers to improve custom-part output.
• Work with design engineers to ensure product design changes are adopted in production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers or suppliers.
• Experience evaluating production-line performance metrics.
• Experience bringing electro-mechanical products or projects to market on time and within budget.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or another applicable engineering field.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
