Junior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.

What you will do

• Identify HR use cases for predictive and correlation analysis, simulations, and classification together with HR experts.
• Build end-to-end AI models and communicate their results clearly to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, data analysts, and data scientists in an agile environment.
• Use data science to support digital products and strengthen awareness of data-driven methods within HR.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and address compliance risks with integrity.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Science.
• Advanced Python classes and objects knowledge, including GPU-based parallel and GPU-accelerated computing.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, large language models, and basic integration with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
• Experience with GitHub, PyTest, Spotfire, and QlikSense.
• Structured, collaborative, self-organized, creative, and customer-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
• Good spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, PRISM, or SAP BI.
• Knowledge of HR business fundamentals and GDPR.
