Production Chemist - Astrea (Chromatography)

Location: Ballasalla, Isle of Man; laboratory-based onsite role with extended standing, manual equipment operation, and day-shift work.

Salary: £27,000–£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus additional shift allowance.

What you will do

• Manufacture chromatography products and materials in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and conduct quality control activities.
• Support process optimisation studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate and maintain production equipment.
• Train colleagues and cross-train across the wider product portfolio.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work in a laboratory-based production environment, including extended standing and manual equipment operation.
• Availability for a day-shift working pattern.
