Head of Product (AI)

Location: Co-located in Austin, Texas; candidates must currently reside in the Austin area or be willing to relocate. The position is limited to individuals who reside and are authorized to work within the United States.

What you will do

• Own the intake funnel for operational and clinical problems entering the Orchestration Works portfolio.
• Establish ROI thesis discipline, including hypotheses for automation lift, operational improvement, and financial return.
• Run the three-gate operating cadence from portfolio admission through concept decisions and production readiness.
• Lead portfolio outcome measurement and reporting into Control Tower and executive governance.
• Set product management standards for scoping, prioritization, validation planning, and initiative ownership across pods.
• Oversee interaction design and human-AI collaboration while aligning the innovation portfolio with Ensemble's enterprise roadmap.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience with progressive leadership responsibility, including leading product managers.
• Experience taking zero-to-one products from concept through validated deployment and making evidence-based decisions to stop unsuccessful initiatives.
• Experience with stage-gate, portfolio, or investment-review processes, documented business cases, and outcome measurement.
• Healthcare domain experience and the ability to engage with operational leaders on revenue cycle problems.
• Experience with AI-enabled products, rapid experimentation, executive communication, and presentations to C-level governance bodies.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin area and already reside and be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Deep revenue cycle management knowledge, including patient access, coding, billing, denials, accounts receivable, or underpayments.
• Experience in an innovation lab, incubator, venture studio, or startup product leadership environment.
• Familiarity with Aha or comparable product portfolio tooling.
• Experience overseeing design or human-AI interaction work.
