Licensing and Export Control Manager (Defence)

Location: Stationary work at the company headquarters in Warsaw, Poland; remote work is possible only in exceptional cases. Frequent domestic travel within Poland is required.

What you will do

• Support the Proxy for Domestic Trade License and the Proxy for Internal Control System in special trade and export control matters.
• Act as backup for the Proxy and maintain continuity of responsibilities during absences.
• Conduct export control assessments, including classification and licensing requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal procedures and controls related to special trade and export control.
• Prepare license and permit applications, reports, analyses, presentations, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with authorities, internal stakeholders, external advisors, and auditors while providing guidance on compliance risks.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in special trade, export control, the defence industry, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of Polish special-trade regulations and a good understanding of Polish and EU export control regulations.
• Experience working with public authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes.
• Good command of English and Polish is required.
• Personnel Security Clearance is required, or applicants must be able to obtain it; eligibility for access to classified information and a certificate of no criminal record are required. A valid driving licence and active driving are also required.
