What you will do
- Operate and rig camera equipment for studio, location, and outside-broadcast productions.
- Operate vision mixing equipment, including source switching, mixing, keying, and effects.
- Assist with IP-based production and streaming equipment, graphics, and post-production editing.
- Manage the studio floor by coordinating presenters, contributors, guests, and production staff during rehearsals, recordings, and live transmissions.
- Provide audio support for radio, studio, and outside-broadcast productions, including recording, editing, playback, and equipment setup.
- Work with producers, directors, presenters, contributors, and technical teams to deliver safe, technically sound, audience-focused content.
Requirements
- Experience working in a live broadcast environment.
- Good technical knowledge of broadcast systems, infrastructure, and studio or outside-broadcast facilities.
- Interest in IP infrastructure and production workflows.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to assess critical problems under pressure and manage available resources to develop practical solutions.
Nice to have
- Awareness of health, safety, and security policies.
- Understanding of television terminology, studio-floor geography, and camera layouts.
- Basic sound training or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing a media library.
- Editorial awareness and understanding of News priorities and objectives.
