Assistant Producer - Sky Sports News (Digital)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the Osterley office, London, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Produce and publish sports news video content, including daily news, features, creative explainers, and live-content analysis.
• Deliver accurate and timely video content across hirify.global Sports digital platforms and third-party distribution channels.
• Assist with studio shoots involving reporters and journalists at hirify.global Sports News.
• Occasionally produce and oversee streams and red-button productions in the electronic control room.
• Support audio podcast production and publishing, including promotional content for social platforms.
• Apply SEO best practices and collaborate with editorial, social, news, and content teams.

Requirements

• Experience editing and producing sports content, particularly for digital platforms.
• Significant sports journalism and multimedia production experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of media law and emerging media technologies and platforms.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders in complex and multidimensional work environments.
• Good knowledge of video production software such as Avid, Adobe, and Grabyo.
• Experience and knowledge of audio and podcast production and publishing.
