Information Security Trainee (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Support second-line cybersecurity assessments of IT and OT infrastructures, products, solutions, services, processes, and controls.
• Collect, analyse, register, and document information gathered during cybersecurity evaluations.
• Support ISO 27001 certification projects across corporate and manufacturing business areas.
• Identify remediation activities for nonconformities found during cybersecurity and ISO 27001 assessments.
• Participate in cyber-risk identification, definition, and project-closing meetings with management.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of or interest in ISO 27001, IT audit, information security, cybersecurity, IT risk management, IT GRC, IT general controls, industrial IT services, solutions, or ITIL.
• Business-fluent English at C1 level and business-fluent Portuguese are required.
• Strong communication, presentation, critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate cybersecurity vulnerabilities, identify root causes, and formulate clear, actionable risk-mitigation recommendations.
• Willingness to travel locally and learn about current cybersecurity trends in an international environment.
